The latest from my Dutch lawyers about my ban from the Netherlands and, as a result, most of Europe. The Dutch authorities are so corrupt it's breathtaking. They banned me through the fake use of a law within the Schengen border system, a law that was deleted in March 2023. The government buffoons admitted this, but said I was still banned because the law was in place when they used it. System-serving judges agreed! Now they are saying that Schengen law still applies to me even though the one they used no longer exists. We began the appeal from the time of the ban in November 2022 and the government has delayed and delayed until now we are 1.5 years into the two-year ban. Government lawyers have said that if I do not change my views the ban could go on to be indefinite. Why I am I banned? I accepted an invitation to speak at PEACE rally in Amsterdam. The Netherlands is fascism masquerading as a 'liberal democracy' and its legal system is a sick joke.

Planet with extremely fast winds discovered Scientists have discovered something incredible 500 light years from Earth – the gas giant WASP-127b, where winds blow at 33,000 kilometers per hour. These supersonic flows are six times faster than the rotation speed of the planet itself and significantly exceed the most powerful winds in our solar system. "We have never seen anything like this before," says Lisa Nortmann from the University of Göttingen. "Part of the planet's atmosphere is moving towards us at an enormous speed, while another part is moving away at the same speed. This indicates the existence of a supersonic jet stream around the planet's equator." For comparison: the fastest winds in our solar system were recorded on Neptune – "only" 2,000 kilometers per hour. WASP-127b is unique in other ways as well. Although it is larger than Jupiter, its mass is significantly less, making the planet unusually "fluffy".

In 2024, long drive pro, Dr Sam Attanasio, set a new world record clubhead speed of 172.5mph to match the ball speed record he also has at 245mph. I couldn’t fathom these numbers, so I recorded a podcast with him and his business partner at Speed Toad, Bryce Mooney, to talk about how it’s achieved. I really enjoyed this chat and recommend a listen if you have distance goals for the new year, or just want to understand how the human body is capable of pushing itself to the max. Speed gains are now a huge part of the sport, and getting faster should be an aim of every serious golfer whether you want to compete at the highest level possible or just have more fun on the course. In 1988, it reached a verified top speed of 254.76 mph at the Transportation Research Center in Ohio, making it the fastest street legal car in the world at the time. Powered by a twin turbo 5.7L V8 producing nearly 900 hp, it beat the world speed record, then simply drove home under its own power instead of being loaded onto a trailer. Built from a C4 Corvette, it still kept air conditioning, power windows, a full interior, and even the factory Bose sound system. The car was capable of 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds and ran a 10 second quarter mile nearly 20 years before hypercars like the Bugatti Veyron entered the 250 mph conversation. The custom aerodynamic body was designed specifically for high speed stability, and the whole project proved just how far Callaway engineering was ahead of its time. Up next: On July 10, our employees will run a relay covering about 40 miles (64 km) from Renton to Everett, and a ribbon cutting will officially open the new line which will expand capacity to meet customer demand.

Residents of this town are being forced to walk home on foot after the Zimbabwean police blocked kombis from going beyond the bridge. Kombis are minibus taxis commonly used for public transport in Zimbabwe and are the main form of urban transport in the country. It is quite disheartening because Zimbabwe once had a thriving public transport system in all cities and towns, with buses comparable to those in many modern countries, but ZANUPF destroyed it. Chitungwiza, for instance, had a bus company called ZimElectro Motors (ZEM), which played a crucial role in providing affordable public transport for residents commuting between Chitungwiza and Harare during its operation. ZEM was owned by the Chitungwiza Town Council and was a municipally-run bus company established to provide affordable and reliable transport for residents of the town. However, when ZANUPF came into power, the company was driven into the ground. Money was looted, and unqualified managers were appointed. The rest, as they say, is history. Zimbabweans must realise that nobody is coming to save them from this abusive regime. Imagine people walking for kilometres simply because they are subjected to a useless and incompetent government that does not care about its citizens!
