No staff. No beds. No theatre. Yet it received over KSh 10M in SHA payouts. Meanwhile, real hospitals wait months for payments. This is cartel medicine: ghost clinics funded, lives neglected. Even our pain is monetized. Auditor General has all the receipts. #RutoMustGo #SHAFraud

Duale has stopped all the fake hospitals that were draining and choking NHIF/SHA. All those Ghosts hospitals were serviced by NHIF. SHA is a year old and Duale who stopped them is 3 months old in office.

What am I looking at, and how did we get here? These children are between 3 and 6 years old. Look closely at this video. These are not teenagers experimenting with drugs. These are babies. At an age when a child should be playing, learning colours, asking endless questions and running around without a care in the world, we are watching them being introduced to smoking. And that should frighten every parent. It should frighten every teacher. It should frighten every community. It should frighten the government. Because addiction doesn't always begin with a hard drug. Sometimes it begins with something adults dismiss as “just shisha.” Then curiosity becomes experimentation. Experimentation becomes a habit. The habit becomes dependence. And before we realize what has happened, a child who should be building a future is fighting an addiction. The developing brain is particularly vulnerable to nicotine and other addictive substances. Early exposure can affect attention, learning, impulse control and increase the risk of dependence later in life. So I want us to have an uncomfortable conversation this week. What exactly are we exposing the next generation to? Where are the parents? Where are the adults? Where are the schools? Where are the regulators? Where is the government? And most importantly… What kind of generation are we creating if we allow children to grow up thinking this is normal? I'm starting a series on substance abuse this week. We are going to talk about the brain. The body. Addiction. Parents. Peer pressure. Drug dealers. Social media. Government agencies. Rehabilitation. And the uncomfortable truth about how addiction can begin. Don't scroll past this. The child in this video could be someone's son, daughter, brother, sister or even your own child tomorrow. We need to talk. What am I looking at, and how did we get here?

Mr. President, Please Seek the Truth on the Ground About SHA H.E. the President, Kenyans need to tell you the truth about what is happening on the ground with the Social Health Authority (SHA). SHA was launched with good intentions, and many Kenyans welcomed the transition from NHIF to a system intended to provide accessible healthcare to all. However, there are growing concerns that implementation challenges, administrative failures and possible malpractice in some facilities may be undermining the programme and creating the impression that SHA is not working. There are reports and concerns from patients that when a patient is referred from a Level 4 facility to a Level 5 or Level 6 hospital because of the seriousness of their condition, they may be asked to pay cash before admission, despite being under SHA. This is especially concerning because ordinary Kenyans were led to believe that they would be able to access covered healthcare without being required to make such payments. Another major problem occurs when the SHA system is unavailable or experiencing technical or administrative difficulties. Patients can find themselves unable to receive treatment unless they pay cash. A system failure should not become a reason for a sick person to be denied urgent medical care. There are also concerns that some hospitals may submit claims to SHA while simultaneously asking patients to make additional payments for services they believe should be covered. These allegations need to be independently investigated rather than dismissed. There are further concerns that individuals who previously benefited from fraudulent or questionable NHIF claims may have interests within the new system, and that some people within SHA or hospital management could be contributing to its problems. These are serious allegations and should not be treated as facts without evidence. However, they are important enough to warrant an independent investigation. Mr. President, please do not rely only on reports from officials within the system. Commission an independent, transparent assessment of SHA implementation across the country, particularly in public hospitals and among ordinary citizens who depend on public healthcare. The investigation should establish: 1.Whether hospitals are demanding cash payments for services covered by SHA. 2.Whether hospitals are submitting SHA claims while also charging patients for the same services. often system failures prevent patients from accessing treatment. 4.Whether public hospitals are receiving SHA reimbursements on time and whether those payments are reaching the intended services. 5.Whether there is fraud, abuse or conflict of interest within the SHA claims and payment system. 6.Why patients referred to higher-level hospitals are sometimes facing difficulties accessing care. 7.Whether the experience of ordinary Kenyans differs significantly from that of civil servants or other groups with easier access to healthcare services. The President should hear directly from patients, doctors, nurses, hospital administrators and independent healthcare experts not only from officials responsible for implementing SHA. If SHA is being sabotaged or poorly implemented, those responsible should be identified and held accountable. If the problems are caused by weaknesses in the system, those weaknesses should be corrected. Kenyans do not want SHA to fail. They want it to work. Mr. President, please obtain an independent report on what is actually happening in hospitals across the country and correct the mistakes before public confidence in SHA is lost. The success of universal healthcare should not be determined by reports on paper; it should be measured by whether an ordinary Kenyan can walk into a hospital when sick and receive the care they need without being forced to pay cash because of failures within the system.

Headline: All involved in the creation of ghost health workers in hospitals and ghost students in our local schools must face the law Following President Yoweri K Museveni Mzee’s directive, Kisanja no more sleep. Expose the corrupt. The corrupt in local government should seek Christ. It is not too late to ask for forgiveness. We must forge a new path of zero tolerance to corruption. Last night at 3:00 a.m., accompanied by the Regional Internal Security Organization (RISO) Chief, the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, representatives of the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), the DISO Mbale, and other security officials, we carried out an unannounced inspection at Busiu Health Centre IV, the largest health facility in Mbale District. Our inspection uncovered five ghost staff who have reportedly been on the Government of Uganda payroll since July 2025 despite not being at the facility. This raises a serious question: who has been benefiting from salaries meant for these health workers? It is deeply disturbing that while the available medical team is overwhelmed by the huge number of patients, corrupt individuals continue to siphon resources intended to strengthen healthcare service delivery. This is unacceptable, and it must stop. With inspections of only two health centres in Mbale District, we have already uncovered 10 ghost staff being paid by the Government of Uganda. Every shilling stolen from the public is a shilling taken away from essential services for our people. We shall continue these unannounced inspections and ensure that everyone involved is held accountable. Corruption in our health sector and in our local schools, where ghost students are created to steal public resources, has no place in Uganda. This woman is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician in America She says she’s seeing more and more doctors leave practicing medicine because what US Health Insurance companies are doing to healthcare She explains why, this is important information: “I believe what we are seeing with healthcare professionals is not just burnout, it's something far more insidious and painful. This is moral injury. — Moral injury. The pain of knowing what the right thing is for the patient, but being unable to do that because of systemic barriers. And over time, this wears you down. I have seen so many people leave the profession because it has eroded their sense of purpose, their love for the job. And we take a Hippocratic oath to do no harm. But in a system that doesn't place human health at the center, that becomes harder and harder to uphold. And that disconnect from what we are trained to do, from what we can actually do, creates a very painful wound. And when the healers themselves are wounded, when their hands are tied, when their clinical judgment is overruled, they don't just feel that defeat themselves, they that trickles down to the patient. — So when we see our providers juggling insurance company protocols, productivity metrics, hospital bureaucracy, the relentless pull of the electronic medical record, all of these things take the doctor away, the patient. If we really want to understand why the United States spends more on health care than any other nation, while delivering some of the worst outcomes, we need to start being honest. The system just isn't inefficient. It is deeply misaligned with care and having it be patient first” US Health Insurance companies are absolutely destroying American Healthcare and we all must keep sharing these important stories because something has to change
