when I listen to Abbey Road every time this animation plays in my head, the game was my first time ever hearing The End (and right after this you unlock it to play it too, it’s beautifully animated in game with ringo’s drum solo and john paul and george trading guitar solos!)

I played so much Beatles rock band back in the day, never 5 starring everything. I picked it back up and got 5 stars on all songs in career and figured out there’s an encore?! You get to play “The End” as a final unlockable song. Seeing that animation really had me tearing up.

I remember the only way I could listen to sgt pepper into walhfmf seamlessly was a mp3 download of it being played in this game. All the wooshs and noises from the game on top of the song got like impressed into my brain lol

LOL this is so great, I forgot in the era of pre beatles on youtube a lot of songs were only available as poor quality rock band videos, I remember wanting to hear revolution and having to play someones rock band video

This is the only rock band game that needs a port

playing through this game really made me pissed at how they half-assed green day rock band after it. it couldve been so much more

breaks my heart, i was literally playing GDRB last night. the animations still hold up for every song and they did a great job at replicating the real life performances but it’s missing the charm / passion put into tbrb, i can’t describe it but it feels like a reskin of tbrb haha
