@PoliceUg @MoWT_Uganda Why are we so timid as a nation? No way I’d see this and not tell the driver to park, eat and then we resume the journey. I just never get it why people see a wrong that can cost them their lives and not act in real time.

@PoliceUg @MoWT_Uganda This is total lack of discipline, and surprisingly the person who took the video must have been timid to call out the driver on this anomaly. We need to start raising kids who can stand up for what is right.

A commercial driver transporting passengers from Onitsha to Lagos has been arrested for the alleged k!lling of a passenger. The driver reportedly got into a heated argument with the passenger and allegedly thre@ten£d to deal with him. When the bus got to Ijebu-Ode, the driver allegedly spotted a truck parked by the roadside and deliberat£ly crashed the passenger’s side of the bus into it. The passenger reportedly d!ëd on the spot, while the other passengers on the bus sustained injuries. Realizing what he had done in ang£r, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled to his family home. The police launched an investigation, tracked him down, and arrested him.

Traffic Police in Hoima are hunting for the driver & conductor of a Link Bus, UBK 989Z, after they were found carrying passengers in excess. The bus traveling from Kasese to Bweyale when a concerned passenger shared the incident on social platforms, alerting police authorities to the dangerous behavior. Acting on the tip, we tracked the bus & intercepted it at Buswekere along the Hoima–Fort Portal road. However, the driver & conductor abandoned the bus & fled. We commend the action taken by the passenger who raised the alarm. We urge all passengers to remain vigilant & responsible, especially in such a period. Protecting lives on our roads is a collective responsibility
