Pooja Bhatt says that while on a trip to Thailand she went out onto the hotel balcony to smoke cigarettes and noticed an "M" tattoo on her finger, a mark for her ex-husband Manish. Back in her room she thought of "carpe diem" and checked her fingers. The "M" lined up with the letter in "CARPE DIEM" that fell on her ring finger, so she called the tattoo artist at the hotel and had the other letters of "carpe diem" inked on her remaining fingers.

This is called Belly Bucking and it was popular in the 1980s. Basically, two guys who are heavily intoxicated enter a ring inside a bar and try and knock each other over by just using their bellies. The sport has faded since then

🚨 INTERNET ERUPTS AFTER PEOPLE SPOT “6 FINGERS” IN NETANYAHU VIDEO — DEATH RUMORS START SWIRLING Israel released a new video of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The goal appeared simple: show he’s alive and speaking. But within minutes people online started zooming in on something strange. His hands. Frame-by-frame clips from the original video appear to show what looks like six fingers on one hand… and unusual finger shapes on the other. That’s when the speculation exploded. Some people are now claiming the video might be AI-generated, pointing out that AI videos often struggle to render hands and fingers correctly. Others say it’s just motion blur, perspective, or compression artifacts. Either way the screenshots are now spreading everywhere. Look closely at both hands. Do you see five fingers… or something else?

RM talks about the ring he received from Jin as a BD gift 🐨So, Jin hyung gave this to me and the reason I’m wearing it on my ring finger is because it only fits there. Jin kept asking me if it didn’t fit on any of my other fingers, but it really doesn’t. I’ll show you. Jin asked me to put it here(*showing it on his middle finger) but it turned out like this(*got stuck in the midway) and doesn’t go on. And then, if I try it on here( *showing on index finger), it goes in but then I can’t pull it off cos it gets caught here. I guess my fingers are a bit strange. Anyway, that’s why I had no choice but to wear it on my ring finger. #JIN #RM #방탄소년단진

I built a tool that automatically fixes finger & fretboard clipping in guitar mocap!🪄 Manually fixing one full song frame-by-frame to “pull” fingers out of fretboard used to take me ~10 hours. Now it runs automatically in ~90 minutes!🤯 And the results actually look pretty decent? First-person view in the clip 👇

Boston Dynamics has unveiled its next-gen humanoid robot hand. • 13 degrees of freedom (up from 7) • 4 fingers instead of 5 (eliminated pinky to reduce complexity, weight, power use, cost, and potential failure points) • 100lb+ combined payload • New 4-DOF opposable thumb with much more human-like movement • Each of the other fingers has 3 DOF • In-hand manipulation, designed to reposition and manipulate objects within the hand • Tripod/tripolar grasps for holding objects securely while still manipulating them • Tactile pressure sensors across the fingertips and palm for detecting small contact forces • Improved proprioception, allowing Atlas to sense finger position, movement, and forces through the actuators • Backdrivable joints, allowing fingers to yield during impacts, improving durability and reducing potential gearbox damage • Directly actuated joints using a single actuator type

About a decade ago, a baker in a small mountainous village in southern Austria noticed his cow doing something unusual. When Veronika had an itch, she would grab a stick in her mouth and use it to scratch her body. Over the years, the brown bovid’s technique improved. She could pick up objects as large as a broom or rake and move them around with her prehensile tongue, changing their length and orientation to ensure the best possible scratch. The behavior isn’t just a clever trick: It’s the first documented case of tool use in cattle, scientists report. And, it turns out, one of Veronika’s skills has only been seen in humans and chimpanzees. Learn more:
