Nigeria is a failed State.

Gun men are constantly invading Nigerian communities and spending significant time in shooting, kidnapping, and killing without any police or military presence to protect or attempt, or pretend to provide protection for unarmed vulnerable civilians. However, on this occasion, the students confirmed that it’s the Nigerian army that is shooting at them with live ammunitions to kill them for protesting against Fulani attack, and the death of fellow students - to be verified. Which kind of army does Nigeria have and why is the military selectively protecting civilians by region and religion? Why is the middle belt, south east, south south and south west more prone to army attacks on the slightest excuse of civil disobedience than in the core north where insecurity is more prominent and vicious? Soldiers are still occupying Okuama community in Delta State as the people are driven away into the creeks and forest on a country that they have a right of protection by the same military under the constitution. Which kind of country is APC government creating for Nigerians which the media is cowardly failing to report about? Why should AIT report ‘army shooting’ of civilians as attack by gunmen? The more the mainstream media shy away from objective reporting of news, the more Nigerians will live like they are under military dictatorship than democracy. The army must evacuate the civilian space to the barracks where they belong. Enough of calling murderers heroes merely for wearing army uniforms and armed with guns purchased with public funds Every Nigerian life matters.
