People say discussing Paxton's personal foibles that "We're not electing a pastor." True, but even if we were, I'd much rather have Paxton, a man who professes the tenets of historic Christianity, as opposed to this complete heretic who hides behind his "seminary education" to proclaim heresies that will damn him and anyone unfortunate enough to follow him to hell.

@reddit_lies He is a heretic according to basic Christian doctrine. Any church that allows him to speak, I would also question their doctrinal standing. If you’re a pastor in Texas, you had better get involved, speak up, tell your people, and get them to vote for Paxton to protect your kids.

Treacly James Talarico opened a legislative session with a “prayer” that quoted the 1905 Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) preamble word-for-word: “build a new world in the shell of the old.” The IWW were revolutionary syndicalists - hardcore radicals and direct precursors to American communism. Same quote. Same ideology. 120 years later. Think for yourself… history rhymes.

Little bit of history. When the Soviet Union wanted to destroy the Church in Russia they came up with this thing called "ecumenialism" which was this idea that all religions were based on the same thing. So in the Russian Orthodox bible there's Astrology in there. This is why there are 5! Russian Orthodox churches in the USA, because different people split off from the crazy at different times.
