In Oregon, David Hampton, the property owner, sowed larch trees amidst a forest of Douglas firs, arranging them to form a colossal smiley face spanning 300 feet. As fall arrives, these larch pines transform into a vibrant orange, making the smiley face vividly prominent against the evergreen backdrop.
