Yeah I think it’s fake cause it says the weekend of 31st September - there are only 30 days and the 30th was a Wednesday.

September only has 30 days. Someone screwed up. But this didnt sound like the win your making it sound like. Sounds more like they're apologising to everyone but the public and saying we have to stop because the general public became "abusive" to staff.

Mike - Time to Talk 的头像
Mike - Time to Talk25 天前

Do you understand how that works…. We draw attention, the general public do what they do best and hold em accountable. People in their mess of a company get abused (which I don’t necessarily encourage) but we do on this side it’s about time we even the playing field Other companies will now be aware of what’s coming and think twice

Fantastic news, but a couple of points here. 1. Who is the intermediary? It is one of their other couch companies? Are they trying to smoke-screen here? We know there are a number of linked companies involved here. Finding the 'intermediary' will be important. 2. "Provision of vehicles provided by BM Coaches was ceased on October 7th". All well and good, but I'm always sceptical of people's wording. If 'BM Coaches' has ceased, what about the other associated companies; Heathrow Coach Hire Ltd, Heathrow Coach Hire Holding Ltd, Linburg Touring Ltd, 1Coach Pro Ltd, Mercian Travel & Tour. Digging further, and looking at the posted announcement, there is more that needs investigation. 1. What B.M. Coaches has admitted According to the statement published on the Linburg website and dated 12 October 2026: 20 September 2026: B.M. Coaches was asked by an unnamed intermediary to place two coaches on standby in southern England for potential Home Office use. 31 September/1 October: The company says the coaches were first used for Home Office work around this period. 7 October: B.M. Coaches says it stopped providing vehicles for the arrangement. 12 October: The statement was issued, confirming that the wider group has no plans to undertake further transport services through those arrangements. There's an immediate factual problem: 31 September doesn't exist. September has 30 days. The statement therefore contains an error in the date on which the coaches were supposedly first deployed. That may be a simple typo mistake, but the precise deployment dates matter when reconstructing the contract and payment timeline. 2. The most important word is "intermediary" The statement says: "BM Coaches was asked by an intermediary to place two coaches on standby in southern England for adhoc use by the Home Office." This is significant because it confirms that B.M. Coaches wasn't necessarily contracted directly by the Home Office. It may have been engaged by a prime contractor or another subcontractor. The statement doesn't identify: Who the intermediary was. Whether the Home Office paid that intermediary directly. Whether B.M. Coaches received a standby fee, a journey fee, or both. Whether the drivers were employed by B.M. Coaches or supplied by another company. Which company actually provided the drivers and managed their deployment. This last question is particularly relevant to our earlier investigation. 3. The statement refers repeatedly to employees Here's where the Companies House accounts become especially interesting. B.M. Coaches' 2025 accounts reported zero average employees, down from 73 in 2024. Yet the October 2026 statement refers to: "the safety, wellbeing, and confidence of our employees" And later: "our staff, some of whom ... have suffered significant abuse from members of the general public" There isn't necessarily a contradiction. The statement also speaks on behalf of the wider group, and employees could belong to another company or have been recruited during 2026. But, the website promotes the group's drivers and regional operations, while B.M. Coaches' 2025 accounts report zero employees. We need to establish which legal entities employ those drivers and how the labour is charged between businesses. Nevertheless, it raises a specific question: Who legally employed the drivers operating the two coaches on behalf of the Home Office? Were they employees of B.M. Coaches, Linburg Touring, another associated business, or independent contractors? The statement doesn't say. Given that B.M. Coaches' accounts identify an associated company as supplying external labour, this is precisely the question that needs answering. 4. Why was this statement published on Linburg's website? The screenshot identifies the website as although the statement is issued in the name of B.M. Coaches. That is relevant because the 2025 accounts establish a commercial relationship between B.M. Coaches and Linburg Touring. B.M. Coaches reported owing Linburg Touring £145,144 for additional transport services at the end of 2025. The statement also describes B.M. Coaches as part of a group and says the two coaches represent approximately 2% of its vehicle fleet. If 2% is a reasonably precise figure, that implies a group fleet of approximately 100 vehicles. However, the statement doesn't identify which companies own, lease or operate those vehicles. Publication on Linburg's website supports the existence of a close public-facing relationship, but doesn't establish that Linburg supplied either coach or employed either driver. 5. The timing of the director changes There is another chronological detail worth noting. My Companies House investigation established that John Richard Hadaway ceased to be a director of several associated companies on 7 September 2026, with Sarah Louise Noble taking over relevant directorships. The Home Office standby arrangement reportedly began on 20 September 2026. That's a gap of just 13 days. This is a legitimate timeline observation, but it doesn't establish a connection between the director changes and the Home Office arrangement. One further question: what exactly has ceased? The wording is quite carefully limited. The company says: "The Group has no plans to undertake any further transport services commissioned through these arrangements." 6. Notice that it doesn't say the group will never undertake Home Office work again. It says it has no plans to provide services through these arrangements. That may simply be normal commercial wording, but it leaves open the possibility of future work through different contractual arrangements. It isn't evidence that such arrangements exist. My assessment This statement significantly strengthens the factual foundation of an investigation. We now have a company acknowledgement of Home Office-related transport activity, a defined operating period, an unnamed intermediary and a stated termination date. What we still don't have is the contractual and financial chain. I would make three questions the priority: First: Who was the intermediary that commissioned B.M. Coaches on 20 September 2026? Second: Which legal entity employed, paid and supervised the drivers assigned to the Home Office work? Third: What payments were made for the standby period and subsequent deployments, and to which companies? Those questions connect the new statement directly to the corporate and accounting evidence we've already assembled. And importantly, they're questions the Home Office and the contracting organisations should be capable of answering without disclosing any individual driver's personal information. One final observation: the statement acknowledges abuse directed at staff. Whatever questions exist about the company's contracts or accounting arrangements, that conduct should be distinguished from legitimate scrutiny of its directors and commercial decisions.
