That looks like an MRSA abscess and this will not cure it. Squeezing it like this can drive the infection deeper. There is no way that all of the bacteria is expressed, and it will immediately begin to build up again and you will be back to this place in a week. To cure it, you have to open it up with a scalpel, then express the drainage. After that, you have to pack the wound with iodoform gauze and remove a little every day, so the wound heals from the bottom and does not close back up. You also need ten days on antibiotics. Kids, don't do this at home.

I want to culture that and bet it comes back with a staph species like aureus vs MRSA. I’d see a lot of Serratia marcescens too in post cardiac patients that had chest incisions. Could be a strep species as well.

That was a numero uno pop! The Mersa queen. She needs to have the sack removed as it will just regenerate. And needs a culture so the proper antibiotics can be administered.

I’ve had a few of these cyst. You need an antibiotic and for the sack to be cut out or it will come back. I literally had to have mine packed with gauze strips.

Gross! When I was a kid we heated a coke bottle in water then put it around the head of the boil, wrapped it in a cool towel. It sucked the puss out, rinsed bottle, return for 3 cent deposit!

She needs that thing lanced, drained (getting the sac out too), irrigated/cleaned, packed with NuGauze and covered.

I had a staph infection on my chest a couple decades ago. It got as big as a saucer and hurt like hell. I’m pretty sure I got it off of gym equipment. I was given a few different kinds of antibiotics and it cleared up. I have heard that’s there’s antibiotic resistant strains out there. Scary.

That is something that a doctor can treat, use them. Not for the sniffles and other minor ailments!

See this is what happens when you are stressed. You activate dormant traits your Parents carry and passed when they take antibiotics for Gonnorhea.

Honey, that’s an abscess. Did you take an antibiotic before doing this? Also, if the sack isn’t taken out, chances are it’s going to return. Right there. Go to a dermatologist.

Put a square of gauze on it over night, replace as needed to let it drain. It should start to heal, keep it clean and antiseptic…
