The punishment is a joke honestly…someone is charged with rape… go to prison for a year then back to the streets to continue where they left off I guess.

The action taken against offenders are not severe , they kill our women and few years are back to our community as if they have kill just an animal, lets bring death penalty against these offenders simply!!

1 Bring back death penalty 2 Illegal foreigners deported to eliminate them as the problem 3 The SANDF needs to be out patrolling the streets of the country 4 No bail for suspects, & life sentences no parole if guilty 5 Women must buy guns. COZ THESE MEN ARE NEVER GONNA STOP!!!

Cut off their balls

We should educate our boys and girls at school level, from a young age about GBV. We have in schools today a subject called LO, what is this subject doing, it adds NO value!. The curriculum should include GBV, so we have a whole new generation that's well informed about GBV.

Today, we remember Reyhaneh Jabbari, a 26-year-old Iranian woman EXECUTED for defending herself against RAPE. Imagine facing death simply for saying "No"! Western women, stand with us in amplifying Reyhaneh’s voice and all women in Iran who risk everything for their dignity and rights. #ReyhanehJabbari #WomanLifeFreedom

@GovernmentZA should change policies and laws that put MEN at disadvantages positions, be it empowerment, emotional or otherwise.

All about mindset and staying away from alcohol

We first need to find out the reasons for men to commit GBV or maybe to check if it is really a GBV or there are hidden facts that we are not aware of. South Africans are quickly to say it's a GBV without getting facts

The current system is fundamentally flawed. While GBV was once rare, it now happens almost every day. Curbing crime, including violence, requires systemic reform to deter lawbreaking. Furthermore, workshops educating individuals on GBV and its root causes are essential.

We need to fix our justice system. It's one thing to promote awareness and education, but it's another when the very system meant to protect us fails to do so. When predators walk free and victims are left unprotected, it's no surprise that many feel unsafe and won't report.
