Good morning Masego and Dan. Although it's being investigated, I cannot believe that Airlink would do anything unsafe to jeopardize people's lives and their own reputation. Their is a bad weather forecast for this Saturday in JHB. It would be a safety risk.

I love a good flyover but for this weekend and only this weekend it’s a good thing that there’s no flyover. I want to see news about the actual game of rugby. But honestly bring the flyovers back whenever it’s save to do so.

As engineer the airlink incident was just reckless the mathematics and physics logic weren’t well thought out.

It is safer for the pilots. We know it is soweto where there is a high risk of smash and grab incidents.

That was awesome to see! 🇿🇦✈️ I’m proudly South African and can’t wait to see it, even though I won’t be there in person to witness it. ❤️🇿🇦

They shouldn't do it. I'm afraid bad actors will infiltrate operation, and this is a good opportunity for a false flag terrorist attack. If they can do it in USA, this will be child's play.

Waiting for enca to mention the big 5 revelation yesterday at the commission. You aren't slick. You are avoiding it like the plague. The big question is why?

Heita daa Team. The flypasts were designed as high-visibility marketing stunts for "Rugby's Greatest Rivalry" tour. While canceling the final leg means losing a brief branding moment the direct financial cost is limited to fuel and flight preparation for two positioning aircraft.

Very disappointed. Airlink did nothing wrong and made us proud. But understand Airlink dont want to damage their credibility or brand and let nit all calm down.

It's neen predictable since the weather forecast for Gauteng showed that weather conditions are going to be poor.

Aviation safety has evolved over decades. Sometimes it learns the hard way, but it’s far better to learn by correcting near misses before they become fatal errors. Aviation prowess is best showcased by its mature approach to safety, not the worshipping of its risk taking.
