I feel like this would be something that would pair horribly effectively with a taser attachment. It punches through body armor enough that it would get right into the skin and cause... Discomfort.

You really missed an opportunity to have those fasteners splay outward to make a massive expanding projectile. I'd remove the steel sleeve in the front, keeping it solid lead, and cut notches in the rear plate, allowing for radial expansion at some predetermined depth.
