THREE KIDNAPPED VICTIMS RESCUED UNHURT, PART OF RANSOM PAYMENT RECOVERED IN IMO STATE. On invitation, yesterday I arrived in Imo State and went through Ogbaku, Ejemekwuru, Amakohia Ubi, Ndegwu Okuku, and Ireti communities. Working in collaboration with the Nigeria Army 34 Artillery Brigade, Imo State Homeland Security, and the Amakohia Ubi Security Network, we carried out a coordinated operation. With technical and intelligence support from the Safe City Volunteer Team, we traced the kidnappers to a farmland in Ndegwu Okuku, where security operatives engaged them in a gun battle. The kidnappers fled the scene and abandoned three victims they had held captive while awaiting ransom payments from their families. A total of five victims were kidnapped. One release yesterday paid ransom, one was killed by the kidnappers and three was rescued unhurt by us. The rescued victims revealed that the kidnappers are eight in number and are strangers speaking Fulani. One of the kidnappers said he was kidnapped last week Friday around Portharcourt road and they trekked to Ejemekwuru Information gathered shows that these kidnappers are scattered across the above mentioned communities and other parts of Owerri West. Special thanks to everyone who made this rescue mission a success 🙌. (NAMES HIDDEN). Youths In Agenebode Etsako Burn Down Police Station, Set Fulani Kidnappers/Organ Harvesters Ablaze Aggrieved youths in Agenebode, Etsako East LGA, Edo state have sacked the police station in their community. The issue began when a bubbling youth of the community was kidnapped recently. After ransom was paid the kidnappers were said to have gone ahead and killed off the young man. The community, resorting to self help, were able to trace the mobile phone of the slain youth (which was still in use by the kidnappers) to a Fulani settlement in the area. The community apprehended the suspects and handed them over to the police. However, upon noticing the inaction of the police regarding the case the community youths besieged the station and asked that the suspects be returned to their custody. The police refused to do so and in the ensuing chaos another youth was shot dead by the officers. This led to the burning of the station even as the officers took to their heels. The community retrieved the Fulani suspects and a number of them were slain immediately. The prime suspect led them to the shallow grave where the kidnapped Agenebode youth was killed and buried. Other mutilated and decomposing bodies were found and the suspect confessed to the fact that he and his group had killed several other people during their stay in the town. This wasn’t just “a woman” - this was Bethany MaGee. She survived being drenched in gasoline and set on fire, but her life will never be the same. The Texas Supreme Court just blocked the judge’s order that would have kept Democratic polls open until 9 p.m. But don't let them trick you: anyone who was in line by 7 p.m. STILL has the legal right to vote and have it counted. Anyone after will have their vote collected, but counting is not certain. Everyone should be angry about this because all voters should be able to vote.
