170000 तो केवल व्यस्क पेड़ों की गिनती है, छोटे बड़े मिलाकर तो कम से कम 12 - 13 लाख पेड़ काटे गए होंगे और वह भी पैदल चलने वाले कांवडि़यों की सुविधाओं के नाम पर जिनको पेड़ों की छाया की ज्यादा जरूरत होती है।
