#Bucs landed a TE that can both contribute right away on teams AND is still a developing tight end in Bauer Sharp Sharp was a QB as a freshman at Southeast Louisiana before transitioning to TE. Started every game for UGA this year and has played both left and right guard in college and East-West Shrine Bowl He’s a 99.6% guard athlete in NFL Draft history, with a 5.09 forty time, 1.73 10 yard and 9’4 broad jump at 6’5 and 334 pounds RARE body type athlete. #Raiders added SPEED on the perimeter in WR Malik Benson. A state qualifier in 100m, 200m, 4x100m, and long jump in high school, Benson hit 22 on the GPS at the East-West Shrine Bowl and ran a 4.37 at the Combine. While many around the league don’t expect any linebackers to be drafted tonight, if there is one, it certainly could be #TexasAM’s Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper is the most complete LB in the 2024 draft class. He’s shown to be: 1️⃣an elite athlete 2️⃣a consistent and impactful run defender 3️⃣a capable and efficient blitzer, and 4️⃣able to use his size and bend to disrupt in pass protection As a run defender, he finished with an 87.6 PFF grade, highest among any expected draft linebackers in this year’s draft class. That includes 15 TFLs or no gain plays. As you can see (🎥), his downhill force plus balance and control allows him to consistently win in the run game As a pass rusher, he had 7 sacks on the year, 4 of which came from playing on the line of scrimmage. When lined up on the line of scrimmage, he generated a pressure on over 30% of his pass rush snaps. Elite ‼️ And in coverage, he finished with a top-10 coverage grade int eh country last season (per PFF College) among LBs lined up in the box. He’s able to use his length and bend, along with developed vision and timing to disrupt plays from the box. Couple all of that with a 4.51 forty time and would-be impressive athletic testing numbers if he was 100% for the draft process (why he wasn’t able to officially go every day in practice at East-West Shrine Bowl), and it’s hard to ignore his NFL starting potential. There’s a real chance he goes in late round one, but if he’s there on Day 2, he may not only be one of, if not the, first linebacker drafted, but may be one of the first players taken on Day 2 of the draft. #ShrineBowlWhosNext

The Mines Football star is a Division 2 All-American and All-Conference as both a CB and PR: Lead NCAA Division 2 in Passes Defended and Punt Return Average for the 2022 season as well as on the NCAA Active Career Leaderboard. “This is unprecedented. I’ve been in football my entire life, but I’ve never seen anyone go from the 8th grade to the NFL” Jon Gruden (Jon Gruden) speaking on George Fant (George Fant) who didn’t play football in high school or college, but stepped out onto the field as a rookie on Monday night football as a starting offensive tackle for the Seahawks. This was one of my favorite projects in my 20+ years as a performance coach. At the time, he didn’t have an agent, he didn’t have the funds to pay for training, but he believed in himself and that was enough to get him a chance! George just finished up his 10th season in the NFL. I’d say he made a good decision passing up the opportunity to be a pro basketball player overseas! God’s glory.

Deuce Vaughn made defenders look absolutely SILLY in his preseason debut 😳 Vaughn ended the night with 50 rushing yards and a TD on 8 carries. And also caught all three of his targets for a net of 6 yards in the passing game. Vaughn’s “shiftiness” was reportedly viewed as an elite trait of his by many NFL scouts coming into the NFL Draft. The Cowboys found a STUD in their rookie RB.

5 observations from the #Bengals local player workout: 1. Jack Dingle was a 3-year starter at UC and has elite athleticism. His RAS score of 9.82 ranked 65th of 3,460 LB measured since 1987. Dingle had nearly 400 special teams snaps as a Bearcat, and knows that will be critical to his NFL chances. “That’s the number one thing,” he said. “Get on a team and start learning special teams right away. That’s very important to these coaches. I’ve talked to a lot of current NFL players and they say “Learn that kick-step on punt man. If you make the punt team, you’ll make the team.’”
