#Vikings QB JJ McCarthy says the mechanics he’s learning are “very new” compared to what he’s done in the past, and that the only way to truly master them is through repetition — even practicing at home. “Coming in here, I was taught to play QB in a very different way. That’s expected going into the league… I feel like it’s just the repetitions. How many times can I go home, and everytime I take the dogs out I’m getting 10 drops each time. Little things like that to keep building the reps.”

#Vikings QB JJ McCarthy said unlike so many other receivers around the NFL, Justin Jefferson is not a “me guy,” and he, as well as the entire team, has been super supportive since he arrived in Minnesota: “Obviously it’s frustrating, obviously he’s the greatest in the world and going through tough times. But, the way he’s responded, acted towards me, and how he wears that C on his chest, it’s something amazing. It just amplifies his ability as a player.”
