#Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was asked if he wants J.J. McCarthy to be the starting QB in 2026. A bit of a word-salad answer — and not exactly a commitment in any way.

Always choose your family over your job. The NFL and your job will replace you by Tuesday. Your kids will remember you forever. There is nothing wrong with Kwesi Adofo Mensah taking 2 weeks of Paternity leave as the Minnesota Vikings GM.

“The emotions of the past weeks, anger, sadness, fear, and frustration, have been felt deeply across our community. We have always emphasized here that we are ‘Stronger Together’ and now more than ever we must live by that principle.” - GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah on recent events that have impacted the Twin Cities

There it is! Mike Florio saying Kevin O'Connell tried warning the Vikings FO J.J. McCarthy wasn't ready. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah didn't listen... and now he is FIRED. "This was rooted in, if not driven by, the ill fated QB decision of 2025. This tells us Kwesi Adofo-Mensah wanted what they got. J.J. McCarthy with journeyman backups and that O’Connell was cautioning against it. He was the guy saying this isn’t going to work”. (Via: ProFootballTalk)

Interesting clip here by Matthew Coller... He's obviously joking at times but he does question why Minnesota Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah or HC Kevin O'Connell haven't talked to the media. Coller says that he's never seen a team go this long without talking to the media given how much money they've spent and the amount of players brought in during free agency. He fully thinks that the Aaron Rodgers discussion will dictate when we hear from Vikings brass and free agent players. (Via: Purple Insider / YT)

#Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah with a lengthy response on Sam Darnold: “We got to see Sam play some incredible football for us… everything we do is about what’s the team around him gonna look like… you show up everyday, and get the best version of whoever you decide to go with at QB. How does that fit in to your long term picture, contract, all those different things will go into our plan.”

The DNKI (Vikings) c¥lt group has the highest number of “Number 1 men” compared to all other c¥lt groups combined. On June 30, Naija Confra explained how power in c¥lt groups is often taken by force (mutiny/rebellion) — and Vikings remains the easiest. A Viking may be in power today, and by tomorrow, another Viking may collect his thumbprint (bl00d from his thumb) and seize control. In this video posted by Naija Confra on June 28, a Viking leader who had just celebrated his sign-out was att@cked in his sleep and overthrown by his fellow members simply by collecting bl00d from his thumb. In Vikings, a thief with a g¥n can easily mutiny a Number 1. A rich Viking can send thugs to help him overthrow the leader so he can head the ship. There are even cases where a Viking hired “non-vikings” arm£d r0bbers to remove a Vikings leader. This does not easily happen in other cult groups. That is why today, any Viking caught in a crim£ or seen singing like a beautiful girl (right pic), is often a former or current Number 1 man. Just this year alone, Naija Confra has reported two former Vikings Number 1 men who cross-carpeted to a rival c¥lt. This is the reason for the public embarrassment. Reject Cultism.

Most people associate the name Blizzard with Warcraft, StarCraft, or Diablo - and why wouldn't they? All three are massive legends of gaming history. However, the very first game created by Blizzard (then known as Silicon & Synapse) was The Lost Vikings in 1993. It's a mix between classic platforming, action, puzzles, and teamwork with wonderfully quirky Viking charm. The game featureed an innovative co-op mechanic that always reminded me a bit of Lemmings (at its core). You control three Vikings who were kidnapped by the alien emperor Tomator for his intergalactic zoo: Erik the Swift (runs fast and jumps far), Baleog the Fierce (fights with sword and bow), and Olaf the Stout (blocks with his shield and can float with it). You switch between them to solve clever environmental puzzles (bridges, traps, doors, cages, etc.) and cooperate to reach the exits. Because each Viking has unique skills, coordinating them smartly is essential - one Viking alone can never make it. An excellent game for its time, I feel that The Lost Vikings showed early on that Blizzard had brilliant developers and creative ideas.

The firing of Kwesi Adofo-Mensah as general manager of the Minnesota Vikings has sparked conversations over “Football Culture”. It’s been revealed that he took 2 weeks of paternity leave after his wife gave birth, & many in NFL circles were shocked by this news. Football culture praises unusual sacrifice. It’s seen as a key ingredient of success. It’s the norm to miss births, birthdays, holidays, and even funerals. That doesn’t make it the right. Kwesi chose his family, & good for him. He wouldn’t have his job either way. Pivot Podcast Pivot points from #RCconfessionals #KwesiAdofoMensah #MinnesotaVikings #FootballCulture #PaternityLeave
