This should've been the new park. Not sure how well villains meshes with Magic Kingdom aesthetics.

Was really wondering with Epic opening next year how Disney would respond. Tonight was a great indication. Hope these two continue to compete and push each other.

EU by my count is 11 rides—2 clones for Mario. Add a carousel, a themed flat ride, and a Water Battle ride, and that’s 5 of 11 of EU’s rides. Two innovative dark rides and four roller coasters round it out. I think Disney knows they’re taking a hit, but thinks they can weather.

The same Imagineers that created the rockwork for Cars Land are working on Piston Peak *and* Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom. I’m always in awe of Cars Land’s rockwork, and knowing the same talent is playing a major role in Magic Kingdom’s future has me very optimistic.
