I just visited Mr. Salah Sarsour, the president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, in Indiana where he is being held by ICE. I was able to ask him questions about his health and treatment, and discuss concerns from his doctor with ICE personnel. I let him know that the entire Milwaukee community stands with him, and I will continue to advocate for his immediate release as I am very concerned for his wellbeing.

President Duterte is such a formidable man, so much so that when he asked for someone to bring him yesterday's newspaper, he kind of scared the male journalist. The questions in the interview were uncomfortable, but Duterte was able to answer with a no-nonsense attitude. As for Marcos Jr, he is clearly uncomfortable to speak about the atrocities that happened during his father's time. I've noticed his defense mechanisms: the stuttering and stammering, the nervous chuckling, and his avoidance and distortion of the truth.
