Why? What happens if I accidentally plop a hot pan on it?

Vinyl doesn’t handle high heat or sharp scratches well, so it’s not the best choice for heavy-use kitchen areas.

I’d like to see that worktop after a couple of months of use, I’d only consider that for staging.
