Virgin active is not safe. My devices just got stolen from a locked locker with a combination.

Today that thief is in Sandton. If you work out at that gym please be extra vigilant. They steal expensive sneakers, clothes, laptops, car keys and phones from lockers. People have been commenting under this post that there is a syndicate operating in @virginactiveSA gyms. Today the thief took my AirPods Pro with him to the Sandton gym.

Simple fix here. It requires a #SAPS CAS no and Virgin will magically change their tune into the point of liability & being helpful. They will hide behind your self-insurance here unless it's a member of their staff.

It happened to me too @virginactiveSA Milpark in January 2023. Received a call from the club manager but seemingly nothing has been done about it, because it has now happened to you 3 months later. This has subsequently led to me cancelling my membership.

I had my phone stolen in a locked locker at planet fitness northmead last year.They refused with the footage and told me that I am responsible for my property.I stopped the debit and never set foot again.

If you have lost possessions at a gym please send me a direct message. I am trying to engage a lawyer to hold the gyms accountable for the crimes happening in their gyms.

Mine was stolen from my locker, deep in my gym bag at Virgin Active-Vodaworld, found out months later that it was one the ladies who cleans there. They found her red-handed stealing another phone.

I hope not. I can’t even remotely wipe the device. It’s gone offline.
