Seeing that photo again is like watching someone bring a life raft to a kiddie pool and then insisting on steering the whole beach. No, that is not a Halloween costume. That is what Abigail Spanberger thought was necessary during Covid. Remember what came with that mindset. Democrats pushed shutdowns, school closures long after the data turned, mask mandates on toddlers, vaccine mandates that cost people their jobs, and “non-essential” labels that crushed small businesses while big boxes thrived. Rights were treated as privileges to be toggled by decree. The message was simple. Sit down. Be quiet. Obey. Spanberger was never the brake on that machine. She cheered the experts, defended the restrictions, and treated skepticism like heresy. If she reacted to the last crisis with plastic and panic, what do you think she will do when the next epidemic or pandemic hits. The same mindset that sealed you out of your job will seal you out again. The same mindset that shut your child’s classroom will shut it again. The same mindset that called your business “non-essential” will call it that again. And look at the company she keeps. Her party’s candidate for Attorney General, Jay Jones, is on record fantasizing about violence against a Republican opponent and even that man’s children. Spanberger has not demanded he step aside. She has not said a word. The top cop of the Commonwealth should be a guardian of restraint and law, not someone whose own words would be Exhibit A in a threat case. Silence in the face of that is not leadership. It is consent. So when she asks, “Virginia, are you ready to win,” be clear about what her version of winning looks like. Lines of shuttered storefronts. Parents sidelined while bureaucrats rule by guideline. Workers told they are expendable because the spreadsheet says so. A governor who treats freedom like a switch on the wall, to be flipped off whenever a press conference needs drama. Virginia does not need a leader who governs from inside a zip-seal helmet. It needs a governor who trusts citizens more than edicts, data more than theater, and liberty more than panic.

Vote Democrat if you want a governor that allows perverted men in bathrooms and locker rooms with your wives, daughters and granddaughters and an AG who fantasizes about murdering his political opponent and children.
