Went to high school in Las Cruces & worked at White Sands for 4 years. New Mexico & California have a LOT in common. Both states have some amazing natural beauty, great culture, & plenty of talented, hard-working people. Both states are controlled by corrupt & inept Democrats.

Lived there 35 years, retired elsewhere. Too many woke 💩’s. High crime, poverty, drugs and poor education system. Adios Land of Enchantment. Democrats ruin everything.

Omigosh this is hilarious. I was born and raised in Santa Fe. Back in the day it was a good place to live. Now there are drugs addicts and panhandlers ripping off businesses. It's a shit hole. It's why I now live in the free state of Florida.

Yep - wrecked it in less than 25 years. Colorado is next. Well on the way.

Yes, we have a lot of issues, but we aren’t giving up on our state! Elect @GreggHullforNM!

Our politics, education, income and crime suck, but our food and sunsets are amazing! This was taken this evening.

This isn’t parody—I spent some me time in New Mexico recently…it’s a hole!!! Outside of 1 or 2 little bright spots, the whole state is one giant trailer park meth lab.

I was born and raised in New Mexico. There is a lot of truth in this post unfortunately.

Accurate but this is also New Mexico.

They don't call it The Land of Entrapment for nothing... If only it was easy to just get up and move, I and so many of us would in a heartbeat, but we'd gotta keep trying to fight... Slowly people are waking up, but need to happen way faster...

Ha, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait until Deb Haaland becomes Governor. The state has been run by Democrats predominantly for years. But there’s not a whole lot of Republicans left to choose from. The GOP here couldn’t even make sure they had a qualified Senate Candidate to run against Lujan. Let New Mexico serve as a warning to others.

If the Bee is listening, so is the nation. Free New Mexico. Vote for First Place this time!

So sad how true that is. I lived there for 16 years and that’s not even satire. The demonrats stole every election since Covid and they’re not stopping.

This is spot-on. I only lived in Albuquerque for four years and have never seen or experienced such a dysfunctional place. There are really wonderful people there, and legitimately great food, but holy crap…it’s not called the “505 Shithole” for nothing.

LMAO! 🤣 I will say this however, NM is the best Mexican food in the United States.

Too many whites in that skit. All the prominent NM politicians are latino or native americans. And go to reservation to see what real alcoholism looks like.

Before I retired from trucking 3 years ago I drove to Clovis NM every week. What an absolute shithole.

Land Of Entrapment. I drive through once a year on the way to CO, gets worse everything. And I'm done with CO after this year - it's become an overcrowded sh*th*le too.

Sadly public education in New Mexico has ranked dead last-50th place for 10 yrs Hmmmm who is responsible? Democrats have trifecta and triplex -control Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and both chambers of government. Meanwhile Republican Mississippi schools soar⬆️

You guys didn't even touch the crime issue. I've witnessed a double homicide (by a guy awaiting trial for molesting a girl), my car has been broken into 6x in ABQ, and my office mate is permanently blind in one eye because she got beaten half to death by four teenagers.

Funny & mostly true. However CO is hot on our heels in becoming a Lib cesspool. We do put Green Chile in everything (Green Chile Apple Pie/ Green Chile Ice Cream) The amazing amalgamation of Spanish, Mexican, & Native American flavors makes all other Mexican food taste bland.

I went to high school in Las Cruces back when the schools were actually better than in many other parts of the country -- it took longer for them to become woke.

I lived in ABQ & Las Cruces in the mid-90s. Thought it was fantastic but any more sounds like LA, just with less traffic. Libs ruin everything.

Aw, New Mexico certainly has problems -- and its cities are suffering from the the social ills exacerbated by Democratic rule -- but I still like the state. The scenery is gorgeous, especially in the north, and the people friendly. I think we can help them get better.

Been to 28 states, many large cities in those various states, many bad neighborhoods of my own state's large cities, trailer parks, and reservation lands. The only place I felt unsafe in every part every minute was Albuquerque, NM and Juarez "Old Mexico". There are no nice areas.
