Today I held two important meetings to review the progress on creation of the new TMARS-Traffic Management and Road Safety Bureau of TG and the TADASC- Telangana Anti Drug & Safety Committees in all educational institutions. Work on these has been going on for the last couple of months and is nearing fruition The TMARS is proposed to lead to standardisation of Traffic Management practices across the state and also enhance road safety through Highway patrolling and also taken up maintenance of traffic signals, setting up new ones , road signages and infra etc. The TADASC will extend the drive against narcotics into all educational institutions and make educational institutions responsible for spotting and informing the law enforcement authorities about any suspicious behaviour of students . The road construction on Princess Park Street has been progressing quite well and we grateful for the continued support and patience of the community and road users. The final road layer is in progress and it is anticipated that the surfacing be completed by Friday 12 December 2025. The safety of the road users is the core priority and it is for this reason that the Roads and Transport will implement pre-markings and install temporary stop signs for the entire festive season as the road will be open for traffic soon.
