Visuals like this are exactly why I NEED Sam Raimi on DCU Batman, could you imagine Sam doing Batman posted up on a gargoyle at night bro, genuine chills. James Gunn

@JamesGunn All time spider man shot. This is peak.

@JamesGunn Man-Bat and Scarecrow in a DCU Batman movie directed by Sam Raimi phewww

@MonkeyD_Chavez @JamesGunn There’s already a director.

@MonkeyD_Chavez @JamesGunn Sam raimi is his humble superior I’m afraid.

@MonkeyD_Chavez @JamesGunn Doesn’t matter. Andy earned it.

@JamesGunn Man-Bat and Killer Croc in the same movie directed by Raimi 🙏

@JamesGunn The most ingenious thing that Sam did was following up every CGI shot with a practical one. Helps sell the immersion so much better. Precisely why the SM trilogy has aged well visually

@JamesGunn Sam Raimi is kinda overrated tbh and I feel like people love him cause of nostalgia. Multiverse of Madness was pretty mid

@JamesGunn Eddie going to church to pray to God to kill Peter Parker kills me every time bruh 😭

@JamesGunn DCU niggas aren’t serious about this franchise

@JamesGunn It would definitely put dcu in a whole different level for sure, batman needs big name well deserved director like Sam Raimi. With his credibility the movie is bound to thrive even more

@NewNameNoGame @JamesGunn Literally sitting on a goldmine

@JamesGunn I said the same thing about Zach Synder...Why would DC hire him to do Superman and not The Batman? His dark style woulde been perfect for the character

@JamesGunn No joke raimi kinda genius

@BigBro06696271 @JamesGunn Andy would probably do a good job yall dtm

@JamesGunn Dark gothic type will always beat colory movies in fun.

@JamesGunn Nah let Raimi do Manbat

@JamesGunn

@JamesGunn Yall pushed raining out the superhero genre & ill never forgive yall

@JamesGunn At this point DC Studios should hire both Sam Raimi and Andy Muschietti for The Brave and the Bold.

@JamesGunn I also need Christopher Young doing the score for that. The Black Suit theme already fits!

@JamesGunn We also gotta factor in the use of 35mm film vs digital cameras. Multiverse of Madness used digital, which is the standard pipeline :(

@JamesGunn Broooo, i love you😭😭😭

@BigBro06696271 @JamesGunn I hope the DCU Batman has retractable eyes. Like a HUD but it toggles on like detective mode or at night for thermal. No AI robot, just readings and Alfred/Oracle. Would be best of both worlds for emotional eye acting and white eyes cool.

@JamesGunn Del toro would be better suited for Batman

@JamesGunn

@JamesGunn A Raimi Batman would be unreal

@JamesGunn People these days cant do night scenes. You cant see anything and its just ugly in colour and light work. And the clip you showed is exactly how it should be done.

@JamesGunn How it felt gettin dat snap of yo best eater gettin cracked 💔💔🥀🥀🥀

@JamesGunn The fact you're talking about this because its never happened means that no one has done batman right yet in film.

@JamesGunn I can’t lie Kay this not just a preference but needs to happen. Batman is a major pillar for the DC ip they need to lock in on him. Just as much if not more than they did Superman.

@JamesGunn I'd have Sam Raimi on Batman or Superman given the chance.

@JamesGunn @JamesGunn check it

@JamesGunn Sam Raimi 💯

@JamesGunn YES

@JamesGunn This movie is 19 years old, not sure Sam Raimi has it in him anymore.
