He had that effortless genius. I thought he was the guy who was heir to the throne. Then, BOOM! He walks away.

He suffered a serious wrist injury back in the late 90's and no longer can play the electric. Something to do with the steel stings.

Agree. Seems like some perfect storm hit his life and tough for him to come back from. Too bad, I think there are plenty of fans still out there that would support him if he decided to tour again.

Underrated Guitar Hero: Vito Bratta 1/5 – The NYC Prodigy (1983–1985) Born in 1961, Vito was the Einstein of the NYC scene. Early White Lion fused classical precision with street-level aggression. “Broken Heart” signaled a new king rising.

While the world was still catching up to Eddie Van Halen's two-hand tapping, Jeff Watson of Night Ranger was tapping with all his fingers, both hands on the fretboard like a piano. This is him soloing live in Japan '83.

I built a tool that automatically fixes finger & fretboard clipping in guitar mocap!🪄 Manually fixing one full song frame-by-frame to “pull” fingers out of fretboard used to take me ~10 hours. Now it runs automatically in ~90 minutes!🤯 And the results actually look pretty decent? First-person view in the clip 👇
