i do wish games from this gen had more flexible resolutions instead of forcing letterboxing. i know that cod 4, 5, and mw2 fill the screen correctly. gta 4 as well.

Its wild because not all games do it but some just opt out of it? like wtf playstation. Sony was still making CRTs at this time and they were still in almost every household so whats the deal?!

funnily enough, if you read reviews about the original launch of dead rising back in 2006, people complained about the game not filling their tv screen making the text illegible when lots of other early 360 titles supported 4:3 resolutions.

Me Beating this on a shitty crt in 2011 was peak 🙏🙏🙏 (No diss to crt’s that one was just dying..)

now i understand why so many people disliked the game but I still feel like people were a little too harsh on metal gear 4, it was supposed to be the end of the series so they wanted to make sure that they were able to wrap everything up nicely
