I agree. I was frequently in Caracas when Chavez took power. Very familiar with Dominion’s founders and thier development of voting machines. VZ was ahead of its time with electronic voting! Not in a good way. Chavez had a nightly TV rant that President Bush was coming for him. One night he goes into a rant about how California’s Gov Gray Davis was going to be recalled and you could bet on it. I thought it odd that he was so sure about a recall election so distant from Venezuela! He kept mentioning that his military was watching the skies for Air Force One. My thought was you better watch out for Air Force 3, which would likely be Condoleezza Rice. Bush doesn’t get to make those decisions! Misdirected anger ! But I digress.

Great job Mark - we authorize you to bill the USG $ 1,000,000.99 for this gap / vulnerability assessment, that hasn’t been performed within Gov, at the state level by CISOs or otherwise or by C3PAOs as far as I can tell with open equivalent transparency. Elections belong to We The People not by masters! We could take this and combine it with other domains (mail in, voter roll, physical security, CSCRM/CIS Albert, Nation State Actor infiltration (infrastructure which you just covered in very limited detail) and map it to NIST 800-53 (critical infrastructure like security baselines & standards) and our comprehensive output (report) would be nuclear ☢️ red hot 🥵 across dozens of domains - our elections are dogshit third world by design- either this administration fixes it via declaration of National Emergency or it problem ends in violence. The Founders ascribed to values - either we live up to that standard or it’s USA in name only.

That's not even the elephant in the room. The big problem is that the VENDORS have been lying. The testing labs have been DEFICIENT (at best), and the EAC has been asleep at the wheel (maybe by design). The entire structure of protection has failed the American people. We have the proof. We're looking right at it. If any of those systems did their job, we wouldn't be seeing back doors in a system.

Educate everyone you can. The general public doesn't understand how bad the problem is.

When mapped to critical infrastructure standards (or say NIST 800-53) an assessment report would show security control deficiencies (zero would be high risk red) across multiple categories or domains; in other words it would flunk an audit.

Your last statement is in error. Jovan Hutton Pulitzer’s kinematic detection method of the PAPER ballots can determine whether votes are properly cast. That’s why we need ONLY hand count PAPER ballots.
