Voting by mail should generally be ended. Vote by mail makes it nearly impossible to detect or prevent fraud. This security gap undermines confidence in the elections. Under law, one should generally vote in person--with id and proof of citizenship!

When combined with mail-in ballots, the system is *designed* to make it impossible to prove fraud. Mail-in and drop box ballots should not be allowed, as cameras on the in-person voting stations would at least prevent large-scale fraud by counting how many people showed up vs ballots cast.

The SAVE America Act is coming to the House floor today. I will be voting for it. This bill does one simple thing: Require proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections.
