This is the longest short form video I have ever made btw

Someone attempted a community note that is so brain dead and wrong that I want to make fun of it - They say 15 million active players but the source they link says 565k active players - This is not how sampled surveys work, they are a SAMPLE of an overall group and a large enough random sample will correlate more with the overall group depending on the size Keep licking boots and sucking shit at basic math interpretation ❤️

I don't even think I can say anything more to contribute, because its so cut and dry. No amount of illogical reasoning will beat a 95% majority. What's the point of having a survey if the decision was already made? Just hoping the results supported the premade decision?

I think theres back door handshaking going in. Its obvious theres money for them to make adding AI. I think they were going to add it anyways, they just wanted a metric to prepare for the dumpster fire thatd follow from adding it

I think VRChat thought that a majority of participants wouldn't care about AI or potentially would've been supportive of it. When the results didn't meet their expectation, they had to spin things to justify why they aren't making any changes. They just wanted to look like they cared about what their community thinks.

They’ll have to comply with steam’s AI labelling rules

I think that also they were like "despite it being and overwhelming majority since people couldn't unilaterally decide on how we should we label AI we decided not to go forward with it." Or like yknow make a separate poll of various idea suggested on the forum to label AI?

I’m just cancelling my VRC+ subscription. They’re not getting a single penny from me until they lock the fuck in and fix their shitty platform instead of feeding the piggy investors. They are fucking nothing without us.

95% of the people who did the survey Is NOT 95% of the community. The only people who did the survey are people that care about AI as a problem on vrc. So ofc it was so high. Normal players couldn't care less about this.

Sometimes I feel like vrchat genuinely hates their user base for the amount of times they pull ts

My thought process now is that I'm just. Gonna look at how I can transfer my model to Resonite. Sure, I do not like the UI of that game but I'd rather be there than on a platform that obviously does not give a fuck about what its userbase wants, and even actively supports the

Ai is the future. Just have to get over it.

I like the idea of them using the labels , but I am more along of so long as the world is fun ill go to it I think they feel the mix bag of some Ai can be good while too much would ruin everything. But if I walking to another lagggy clubs im going to lose it

Just go out and get a job maybe a few hobbies and lead a normal life. I know it sounds impossible but it's not

And just like the anti-cheat controversy, they'll sweep this under the rug all the same.

@ProjecTechAce You know it’s bad when ivycomb makes a video about it

Every company turning the gun on themselves...

What I think of this is that they just caused one of the biggest controversies they've had in a while I'm surprised you didn't mention the crazily stupid reason why they aren't gonna add an AI label. Being the bit about filters.

Vrchat going down the drain slowly

Users should have the freedom to hide content that upsets them, regardless of the context. If no one can agree where to draw the line, then we should allow individuals to draw the line for themselves. That's why you should support my feature request to VRChat.

Call me crazy but I really don't care about AI I use it almost every single day

Love how they did this AS the bubble bursted. Very poor timing. XD

Id honestly say people realizing this about vrchat is crazy to me considering ive been saying that vrchat has been like this from nearly the beginning ever since their first big controversy with the avi 2.0 purge. The minute they started talking corporate and treating their fan-

This is like loud silence from VRChat...

I echo my thoughts as I been saying around, I think it good to provide a way for everyone to just be honest and transparent of their content. It up to their responsibility to be honest on that regardless of what others think about it.

Everybody everybody that saying they don't like AI is just saying that because the popular thing right now is to say AI is bad and if you use AI any form outside of things I can't call it bad in therefore it's bad I don't blame the company

WHO the fuck is useing my theme bro

I honestly don't see the issue of implementing an AI label with stuff made with it, the only issue i see is people starting witch hunts against those who don't, and get accused of using AI, because their aesthetics become widely copied by People who do.

i think we all knew how this was going to go lol. theyve beaten the hell out of everyone that wants equlity or whatever. and in their blog they were like "we use ai already for our platform" like... they knew what they were going to get lol

Unrelated but you make terrible music, that shit horrible. If i’m driving my car and niggas turn on ivy comb we might end up in the ocean, i’m serious.
