"Ukraine has brought the war to a new level" is the main feedback for Ukraine's recent special operations in the Russia-Ukraine war. The Spiderweb operation showed that it is possible to destroy an aircraft worth more than $100 million with a $600 drone. Which means anything can be destroyed that way. This makes the world reconsider military strategy and realize the vulnerability of military facilities, as well as reconsider priorities in the military-industrial complex. Ukraine did this. We had to do this because we are fighting an existential war. A war for survival against the world's largest nuclear power. We are David vs. Goliath, fighting with one hand tied behind our backs, without enough weapons, with bans and restrictions. “I supported Ukraine. They wanted to beat me,” says Oleh, recalling the Russian school where he was bullied every day for loving his homeland. He’s 9. Three years ago, he ended up under occupation. And like thousands of other children, he became a hostage of propaganda. ⠀ Before the war, Oleh lived in eastern Ukraine with his big family. But on February 24, 2022, everything changed. “It was terrifying. Helicopters flew so low, we thought they’d blow the roof off,” recalls his mother Tetiana. ⠀ Later, the family — like many others — was offered a place in a “recovery camp” in Russia. The promised 20 days turned into three months of forced deportation. ⠀ His parents couldn’t wait any longer to get their son back. Taking a huge risk, they drove into Russia in a car with Ukrainian license plates to pick him up themselves. But there was no way back. ⠀ The family had to stay in Russia and enroll Oleh in a local school. But instead of safety, the boy faced bullying and abuse — from classmates and teachers — just because he was Ukrainian. He was forced to sing the Russian anthem, hold portraits of Russian soldiers, and constantly hear that Ukraine was weak. “They told me I was worthless. That Ukraine was bad. But I still believed in it,” Oleh says. ⠀ Their home in Ukraine was destroyed by shelling. But the desire to return home was stronger than fear. Today in Kramatorsk, the entire day was spent clearing the rubble after a Russian missile strike. Among the injured were journalists - a Reuters film crew, citizens of Ukraine, America, and Britain. A regular city hotel was destroyed by a Russian “Iskander” missile. Deliberately. Calculated. Seven people were injured, and one person lost their life. My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones. This is the daily Russian terror that continues because Russia still has the means to continue. Today, too, Russian strikes targeted our Sumy region –with "KAB" bombs, as well as on Kharkiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions. For all of this, the world must not stop exerting pressure on the terrorist state. For missile strikes, for "KAB" bombs, for assaults. In general – for this entire war. Russia must be forced to seek peace. Today, I want to especially acknowledge our forces who are already holding Russia accountable. With the forces we have and the ones we are constantly strengthening. Every unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Security Service of Ukraine working on our long-range capabilities. Everyone repelling Russian assaults on the front line, especially now in the Donetsk region. Everyone engaged in the defensive operation in Kursk region. I thank all our warriors. Also, my deepest gratitude to all the manufacturers of our Ukrainian weapons, suppliers of all the essential components, and the developers – each one of you who tirelessly works for Ukraine. Since the beginning of this June alone, Russians have used more than 2,400 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine. Of these, around 700 have been targeted at the Kharkiv region, striking our positions, our cities, and communities. Such Russian strikes are also being carried out daily against Donetsk and other frontline and border regions. Ukraine needs the necessary resources and means to destroy the carriers of these bombs, particularly Russian combat aviation wherever it operates. Therefore, modern air defense systems for Ukraine – such as Patriots, accelerated training of our pilots for F-16s, and most importantly, sufficient range for our weapons – are truly necessary. Since the beginning of this June alone, Russians have used more than 2,400 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine. Of these, around 700 have been targeted at the Kharkiv region, striking our positions, our cities, and communities. Such Russian strikes are also being carried out daily against Donetsk and other frontline and border regions. My condolences to all of their close ones. As of now, eight more people have been injured, including a three-year-old girl. The world knows what should be the response to terror. The world has enough air defense systems, as well as drone and missile defense systems. Delays in the delivery of weapons to Ukraine, as well as air defense to protect our people, unfortunately result in such losses. It causes the number of children's lives claimed by Russia to steadily increase. Ukraine has never requested anything more than what is necessary to protect lives. If anything, more and more Ukrainians will keep dying, and for what? Russia has the capabilities to down these missiles but can Ukraine defend against Moscow's retaliation? Ukraine has nothing to match Russia. The Kiev regime has no regard for it's civilian lives, banking on Putin's mercy. On reaction by the Kremlin to Washington's approval to strike Russian territory with American missiles could take multiple approaches. Arming Venezuela to hit the US soil, the Houthis against American warships, destabilize the ME. But I leave room for that because even though this is a current serious topic to discuss, the Kremlin pays no attention, scoffing this as media games. Behind closed doors Moscow and Washington are in communication. I refrain from fully judging the situation or calling Trump out just yet.

We regret that Hungary systematically tries to drag Ukraine into its domestic politics and its electoral campaign. We reject such attempts from the Hungarian side. Sometimes in his speeches Prime Minister Orban mentions President Zelenskyy more times than Hungary, which makes us wonder whether the elections are unfolding in Hungary or in Ukraine, and whether Prime Minister Orban is running to lead Ukraine or Hungary. We hope he focuses on his country and tells his people about the state of his economy, about what his government is doing, why they failed to diversify energy supply to Hungary, and other issues which are probably of more concern to Hungarians than the President of Ukraine and other Ukraine-related issues that, unfortunately, Prime Minister Orban is so focused on.
