Vtubers STOP using a green screen to record ❌

For those who don't know, you can make a separate Profile in OBS with this setting! This way you don't have to change the settings each time 💛 Just go to Profile > New.

I tried this once when I saw it on youtube and fucked up my system badly. Never again 🥲 Imma stick to old greenscreen

Or use... This records all elements you add the filter to as their own output. This means you can capture your vtuber model separate of your stream and re-insert yourself anywhere

I made a separate profile so that I didn’t mess up my settings. Also the file sizes are massive 🥹it’s so sad

they are huge but for me at least the quality and not having to mess with chroma key is a good tradeoff

Very very valid. I sometimes edit on my phone and it can’t handle those types of videos well so I don’t use it too often

Thanks alot, saves alot of time when I editing lol, used a different profile and scene for it so I can easily swapped between it and my normal settings :)

would be nice if you could attach settings to scenes but I understand why you can't because god would that break things spectacularly..

color space bt.709 works as well actually it works better than srgb

You can do something similar and use WEBM files using VP9 as well. It requires a bit more resources but gives much smaller files. Only caveat is it does often seem to make OBS crash after you finish a recording, but it doesn't affect the recorded files. Also make sure you're editing software can handle the files.
