The tracking quality of the Google Mediapipe tracker is comparable to the NVIDIA tracker but does not need a special GPU to run. Give it a try and see how it works for you!! 💖 It is being actively developed by Google, so I would say it is likely to improve over time!! ✨✨✨

Also part of this update: VNet uploads/downloads are now retried until they succeed and file limits have been increased. This fixes a bug where sometimes models wouldn't load correctly for VNet collab participants!!🧑‍🤝‍🧑🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Also, the maximum session time is now 45 hours! ⌛️🕓 ✨

works pretty well, love that you can use mouth tracking without an iphone, but my model is extremely janky? I'm not sure how to fix that

This looks like you have smoothing set to 0 for parameter mappings that have FaceAngleX/Y/Z set as input. Make sure you apply at least _some_ smoothing. I'd recommend at least setting it to 15.

Because of a bug in Android 8.0, it is possible to bypass lock-screen timeout and disable Android PIN/Password/Pattern using ADB commands In the video, I automatically tested 26 different PINs in a row without 30 seconds timeout being triggered. As a result, PIN was found and lock-screen protection removed. This bug was fixed in Android 8.1 and above OS versions. This method can be used only on devices with enabled debugging. More info:

Ocarina of Time, running natively on iOS and iPadOS for the first time. Not an emulator. Ship of Harkinian has run on Windows, Linux, macOS, Switch, Wii U, and Android. Never iOS. Now it runs on iPad, with iPhone in the build too. The game was decompiled to C and rebuilt as a native ARM64 app rendering through Metal. No N64 hardware being simulated, no ROM interpreted at runtime, no streaming from a Mac. It isn't stuck at the N64's 240p and 20fps. Widescreen, full resolution, 60fps. This game deserves a controller, so controller support is native. Pair a Bluetooth controller and play the whole thing. Touch, keyboard, and mouse work too. I used Codex 5.6 Sol to build the iOS layer. Open sourcing it all below.

Windows 11’s hidden CPU boost is now available in the May optional update! I installed KB5089573 (Build 26200.8524) and tested the Low Latency Profile again. For now, this feature does not make your apps launch faster, as that particular change is not included in today's update. However, the Low Latency Profile currently makes OS flyouts load faster. This means the Start menu opens with less lag, and Action Center feels smoother. Plus, right-click menus show less of that annoying rendering delay. On slower PCs, this should matter even more because Windows briefly pushes the CPU harder during shell interactions, then lets it drop back to idle. Some people call this a lazy band-aid, but that misses the point. macOS and Linux already have similar tricks. This is how modern systems make interactions feel instant. The real win comes when Microsoft combines this with native WinUI 3 work and less WebView2 bloat. Windows 11 finally feels like it’s being tuned for responsiveness again.

I got Llama 3 running in my browser using only my GPU with my Wi-Fi switched OFF completely client-side WebGPU is a new feature in browsers where JS can use the GPU of the device and apparently you can run LLMs on it too, and it's fast! My end goal for 🧠 is a locally run client side 100% private conversation where nothing gets sent to, processed in or stored in the cloud This will be helpful because I prefer making it web based instead of coding for 4 different native platforms (iOS, Android, MacOS, Windows) Two challenges still: 1) the user has to download the LLM model first and the smallest model is still ~3GB, but they only have to download it once 2) not all devices have fast GPUs yet for LLMs, but it's starting to become a default in most devices e.g.s smartphones

Quick Xbox Ally update! Not sure if this is part of the Windows Insider ring, Xbox Insider ring, or whatever else, but the Xbox Ally now has the Xbox Series X/S navigation sounds when you use a controller. Pretty small change that makes it feel way more like "an Xbox." Yeah you can turn them off too etc. The app also seems faster 🤔. Xbox Ally X is getting a bigger update in March to turn on the NPU clip recording feature. Will be interesting to see how that works!
