And I quote, "We are not the primary target of people looking to commit merchant fraud. People who steal credit card information don't try to give that money away." Second, from the onboarding guide given to every new hire on the fraud prevention team, "We want to give our donors the benefit of the doubt and think about the reasons why a contribution is legitimate." trainees were never told to reject a donation over a single suspicious characteristic. One red flag just isn't enough.
