Straight out of high school, you had the exact same opportunities 90% of the people living in the United States had: More School / Job / Military. Maybe now we won’t have people living on the streets that really do need section 8 housing instead of people living on it their whole lives!🙄

Section 8 might be good temporary and for people who are disabled or should be used as a stepping stone when stuck in a hardship and not used for life because what it does is make you dependent on it and one of the guidelines to use this help is to stay with in a poverty level. It does have some good programs that can help you on your feet til you are able to stand on your own two feet but of course that isn’t an easy thing to do, and many people get comfortable and complacent, I know from experience, and I realized that it can be a trap that gets you to settle for less. I realized in order to have more freedom and something that was worth having I was going to have to disconnect from the program, start becoming a producer instead of a consumer and battle my way out and that meant giving up my dependence and my comfort. I do not think this path is meant for people who don’t have the ability to move forward and I understand that it is something that offers stability but when it’s offered by a system who benefits off of people staying poor their whole life I had to make a choice. Of course, I waited til my child was an adult and I was able to help him get into his own place where he is safe and secure and I decided it’s time to change and move forward and for me it was well needed. I work for myself and I don’t pay taxes to a corrupt government and I am free to do whatever I want. I didn’t really mind that I had to sleep in my van for a while because I had become hyper focused and grateful to have the opportunities coming in that would of never happened had I stayed in that situation. It was scary at first because of all the change but at the same time adventurous and courageous to have the will to change my life and live my best life for me and on my own terms! I trust in the divine and have learned many lessons and have had many trials and tribulations and I got through that shit like a straight up gangster! Life is good!

Take your message to ‘fund me’ sites. Have your friends and kin folk write testimonials about your plight and needs. If that works, I have zero problem with people voluntarily enabling ‘able bodied’ people avoid work and responsibility. But not through taxes. 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
