We've a gay couple live across the street from us. Rewind ten years or so. The one guy lived in the house alone. Found out from my wife he wasn't happy. "Why?" I asked. "His boyfriend is still out in California," she told me. "Why?" I asked. "He's afraid the neighbors might be trouble," she replied. "I'll talk to him," I told her. Next time I saw him I related what my wife had told me and said "Get your guy here. Nobody's gonna care." "Really? he asked, doubtfully. "Really, " I replied. "Unless you're having gay sex on your front lawn nobody's gonna give a damn. Bring him here and be happy." So he did. And nobody cared.

Don't disagree with this at all. Old Gen Xers like myself supported gay rights in the 80s, 90s, & 00s. When SCOTUS in 2014 made gay marriage fiat of the country, NGOs like the Human Rights Campaign fulfilled their founding missions, they should have folded up shop & celebrated. They did not, but instead put shoulder to the wheel manufacturing & ginning up divisiveness & new issues like transgenderism. The @HRC, other NGOs & NPs of their ilk, & the current @TheDemocrats party would have you believe that America is homophobic & racist. When it is not. Wait until the musulmen are in charge.
