Wait for the explanation... because that first sentence is wild. 🫢 Imagine having to explain this to the neighbors. 🏚️

So glad she had her father there!

Was I the only one waiting for the 💣

hearing how her family reacted, its really not surprising the mother is fucked up. found drugs that belonged to mother, blame teenage daughter for....discovering drugs? even though her cousin(godmas son?)knew she partied prior to the discovery. her pops is 1 of 1 for putting up with her for what i have to believe is the sake of the kids. she sounds like a piece of work.

Over what? Coke? Crack? Weed? Dafaq!

I was waiting for when she turned on the oven and let the gas leak then someone, you know

That’s a crazy sad story…her own mother 🤦🏾♂️

She said they were already having problems. So she told on her mother to spite her. She didn’t snitch because she wanted her mother to get better or quit using. 16 is old enough to be intentionally manipulative.

What a blessing to have your dad in your life. Living with addicted people is traumatizing because they are truly sick people and you must keep in mind it’s not your fault or responsibility to heal them. It’s your responsibility to be just who you are which is authentic caring loving and a remarkable person. It would be in your best interest to seek counseling and support and realize your feelings are valid and you deserve to be here living happy joyous and free . Good luck

She was a narcissist, selfish drug addict that accepted no responsibility for her actions. Good for you and your brother for going NC. Your personal well being and peace are worth so much more than that garbage group of toxic people. It’s a blessing you had such a strong father in your corner!! 🌸💕

Holy cow! That was an intense 3 and a half minutes! All over the wrong dang towel! 🤦🏼♀️

Most times when you find a terrible feud between a mother and her teenage daughter within a family unit, both the mother and daughter have behavioural issues. I could understand the cause of your mother’s bad attitude—alcohol and drug abuse, and I could also figure out the origin of your bad behaviour—you were a spoilt brat who was possibly overprotected by her father. This is why I strongly agree with your aunt/godmother’s assessment of you that you are manipulative. Telling your dad about the drug you found in the towel was good enough even though you already knew it belonged to your mother. But why should you involve or discuss this with an outsider?! It is hard to believe that the woman in question is your biological mother. A person struggling with drug abuse needs love and affection to win the battle, not a teenage daughter or husband castigating her. Luckily, she had an extended family that accepted and stood by her. Otherwise, she could have easily become lonely, miserable and suicidal. I hope your father will see how he could have acted better, and that you are now wiser and able to see your mistake in all that happened.

She didn’t break up the family, her mother did. It’s not like her dad kicked her mother out, she left because SHE wanted to and can’t face problems head on. Treatment was an option, but she ran instead.

Her mom dead wrong but she also hated her mama & couldn’t WAIT to snitch lol. It’s so obvious. Exhibit A: the face she made after she said she was going to tell their dad lmao. EVERYONE know that face…. the “and sure did” face 😂

The facial expressions, the hand gestures…this person grew up progressive and online

Thank you for sharing your experience. It is not your responsibility to fix a parent. It's their responsibility. They have to be willing to acknowledge their weakness first, and you can't make them do that. Sometimes we need our struggle to be heard, it's not an attention grab.

Her mom would have gotten away with it if she had just done the fucking laundry.

I guess having a drugged out mom helped me understand from the start what “blowing up” the family meant. lol

The fact she videoed herself 11 years later to tell the world this personal story while doing the tongue slapping noise, says what I need to know about the daughter. Why do ppl think it’s necessary to tell their personal stories about their family on social media.

I stayed thinking she talking about she “ BLEW “ up her entire family 🤦🏽♂️

Your aunt is a horrible enabler. It actually sounds like most of the family are enablers.

So your mom did Coke and you broke up the family over it ?

She a sneaky something! Yes her mom is trifling but this daughter will definitely blow the entire spot up

Honey none of that was your fault. I’m a Mom and I wish I could hug you until you know how wonderful you are❤️

Ok great…

Her mom is a demon and so is her mom’s entire side of the family. They needed to be out her life. I hope her dad divorced that woman.

I can’t even listen to the rest of the story. The insufferable hand gestures are so off putting m. Honey they are so 3 years ago

Her mom is the kind of people whose deaths you come to terms with while they are still technically living. Can’t have bad souls like that in your life.

This is exactly the behavior of an addict. It’s everyone else’s fault but there’s.. I am so proud of this young lady for standing up but most of all ,getting through all the harassment. I have similar issues in my CONTACT IS A GOID THING.

I will never understand women putting their families on exposure on the Internet, letting everybody know how embarrassing their family is. I bet her brother didn’t do this. No shame at all.

AlAnon and AlaTeen are the resources to go to for help. Look up AlAnon online to find a meeting near you. It’s free and is a lifesaver for families who have an addiction in their life.

There must be a lot of alcoholic/drug addicts or her mom's family in these comments, or just straight up nasty awful people.

grown ass people mind you and they say our elders were smart and our generation stupid ? yeah right

Why do you guys share so much on the Internet?

Fuck that bitchass mom and her enabling ass family. They can all go to hell.
