To be honest, that has been done so many times in the comics and movies, that writers are getting tired of it🤣! They just want to show now How scary Bane can be if you don't go fast his tubes! Then again, why does he not make them a different stronger material?

Problem here cutting the tubes is they doing nothing right now. This baseline bane fighting robin. There's no venom going through those tubes, it's Bane.

I think you are misunderstanding this version of Bane. The tubes in this scene are just tubes. Nothing is flowing through them. This is Bane's regular form. So Tim had no reason to target them. Not to mention that he couldn't. As for the final fight with Batman.....

That’s the whole joke landing. The clip works because Bane’s Venom tubes are the most obvious “just cut the power source” weakness in superhero design, and most fights ignore it until someone finally does the practical thing.

Robin was mid-fight and 15. Batman cut the tubes two minutes later and ended the whole thing. Classic “let the kid suffer first” writing.
