Brooo. I worked for him about 9 years ago. Did a massive landscaping project. Him and Oprah came on the job and he walked right by me. Me being the owner simply said “Hey Tyler! How’s everything looking for you?” I extended my hand out to shake. He looked at me and my hand like I was scum on earth. I’ll never forget that.

So the contractor was a month to finish the project, spent who knows how much, and quit from being asked to put their noses on the wall? Somethings not adding up here.

I worked building that Douglasville Mansion, south of 20, in late 2014 and 2015. I did sign a 10 year NDA. There was no such clauses. It was basically an NDA saying we would never discuss any building plans, any people we saw there and take no pictures or media, blah blah blah. Tyler's people were the most generous and kind people. They came back and had notes and not only did they come humble but they gave bonuses to all of us for doing quality work and going above and beyond. I am guessing there is more to this story. Or it's just a straight up lie.

This didn't happen. You walk out on a job with a month to go, you lose the contractor. And get sued for breaking it if additional time and money is spent to finish the job.

If i signed a contract to do it. I would have. But this story sounds about right. No matter if the roles were reverse.
