If I am not mistaken you need a specific hardware plugin to be able to do this. Additionally, I don’t think any of the model Ys in the U.S have a power outlet in the back they might have a 12V outlet though

Hard to tell from the Chinese characters, but looks like they used the Tesla browser. MacOS has built-in VNC server. You can use the Tesla browser as a client (with a proxy server). Notice they showed the mouse? That's probably connected directly to the Mac via Bluetooth

I use @SideDisplay it enables you to use Tesla screen as second monitor.

You have to have a mobile hotspot / shared wifi to stream the screen to the cars browser. But yes. ... Probably easier to just leave the Mac Mini at home - and remote over internet plan since you need it anyway.

Inbuild video streaming to the display is the main thing missing since many years! I’m not asking for an HDMI port, but even if we could just send a YouTube video to the car from the phone like you can with the Google Maps navigation, that would be a start!
