What you NEED to know: * Canada makes 10B kg a year of dairy. * The cap for importing dairy is just 50M kg or 0.5% of all Canadian dairy. * Canada consumes the cap of 50M kg in just SEVEN DAYS. * No importer would import for 7 days and then hit a quota * Canada does not have a free market system.

I thought Trump negotiated the CUSMA agreement and ensured all of these tarrifs were addressed? He called it the best deal for US. Also all these tarrifs are not true. They are all quota based tarrifs which the U.S. also has on Canada. THEY ONLY KICK IN AFTER A CERTAIN QUOTA HAVE BEEN REACHED. Also tarrifs are paid by the importing countries. Canada should be the one COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS TARRIF IF THEY WERE INDEED TRUE.

Chris, you don’t know what your talking about. Those tariffs only kick in at marginal levels of imports quantities where the impact would adversely impact the production in each country. That’s what it was being used for. To set limits to protect producers. Now it’s a weapon.

Dairy tariffs kick in after a quota has been exceeded. Never come close to that quota yet. So no such tariff ever kicked in. Keep drinking the kool aid fool

Is education illegal in the states? Or, are schools just used for target practice? US dairy does not meet Canadian standards. You have to exceed the allotted amount in order for the tariff to be implemented which is never been done.
