wake up babe, old fish/new banger just dropped

the lake sturgeon hasn’t had a sustainable presence in the Cuyahoga River since the late 1800s. today, thanks to the river’s ongoing comeback and partners @USFWS @OhioDivWildlife @clevemetroparks, 60 tagged young sturgeon were reintroduced to the Cuyahoga River.

@OhioDivWildlife @clevemetroparks in the 1960s the river was declared dead. as water quality continues to improve, the lake sturgeon could now be the 73rd species of fish to call the Cuyahoga River home.
