And, the way you always keep the most important person for last, the fact that the apogee of his acceptance speech was about Connor.. he had me sobbing, cause of how completely unguarded and raw Hudson is here. The way the emotion is slowly building up, as he is going down that list, his voice cracking a bit, his hands shaking. And he can feel it slowly, tears forming in his eyes, tears he is holding in the best he can. As he is holding that award, so firmly, that last name on his list, the one that felt like an awakening. He is the one he'd want to hold right there (or rather be held 🥺). The one who is more than a scene partner, more than a best friend, his "emotional support person in life", his "soulmate", his anchor even. Cracking a joke or two to try to release a bit of pressure, but when comes the point of saying his name "to the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you." and not find his face, his eyes, his smile in front of him, the absence is screaming in his chest and the tears are closer than ever. Cause to be here, and for that to happen not side by side, like everything they've experienced for the past year or so, this doesn't feel quite right. Funny thing is, he doesn’t need or get a bottle: Unlike the rescued orphans in Umani, Lenny has his mum by his side — wild-living orphan Lima Lima — and with that, access to milk ‘on demand’! Baby Zigi, the youngest elephant calf — born to Zongoloni — brings up the rear. Only a month old, he’s doing a great job in trying to keep up with his older ‘brother’ Lenny. They are two of 76 calves born to orphaned elephants we’ve rescued, raised, and rewilded. A next generation of elephants alive today thanks to a life saved many years ago. I am yet to watch #Dhurandhar as I need to figure out some time from work to do so, but my intent is clear : I don’t need any angle of Muslims portrayed as culprits of all! It’s a story of an Indian spy in Pakistan and how he fought the enemies that side and worked for our country, but in no manner should any movie for that matter - time & again demean their own Indian Muslims in any manner!!! That’s about it . India needs to accept its own Muslims as a part of their land and keep the fights of Pakistan & Pakistani Muslims separate from Indian Muslims. Don’t sell any movie in the name of a propaganda endorsed by any political party, creating an Islamophobia like situation in the country! Let’s keep entertainment for entertainment purpose & not on feeding the “hateful agenda”. I am hearing good things about Akshaye Khanna as the villain so he would also be one of the characters I am looking forward to watch, as much as seeing Ranveer Singh in his beefy avatar for his #Dhurandhar role. But don’t sell any movie in the name of spreading Islamophobia - this won’t cause harm to those who actually cause harm, it will cause harm to those who don’t!
