@acuthbert11 Scotland has long struggled for depth because Rugby was historically the game played in private schools. There are only around 36,000 registered players in the Country. Until that changes and the game is developed in state schools they will struggle.

@acuthbert11 Historically, the team with the least wait between winning titles in all 4/5/6 nations history, is Wales. Even in the dog shite of the 80's and 90's we managed to scrape a championship. Now though, it looks bleak as everyone else is so, so much better. The WRU ruined it all.

@acuthbert11 Retired players can throw shade at Scotland all they want, but the reality for Wales is that Scotland were never this bad. Wales do not have a lot of quality in their side; man for man, a couple aside, they just aren’t very good, and can’t see that changing given state of the WRU

@acuthbert11 As long as Scotland have Townsend in charge then yes he is correct. We don’t have a good enough forward group or enough depth in the forwards for it. Townsend has taken us as far as he can.
