Walk cycle is complete! A project that’s been waiting for almost a year. I'm returning to Zerog — now with the skills to make it what it truly deserves to be. Concept by Jan Buragay #3DArt #Mecha #Animation #WalkCycle #Zerog #JanBuragay #3DModeling #blender

@buragay_jan His left shoulder cap (or whatever that thing is) looks like his head. 🫣 I just can’t unsee it.

@buragay_jan Ahah now I seeing this too, thanks! ಠ_ಠ

@buragay_jan that is so incredible! Building my first mech, is there something you could recommend for learning how to do a walk cycle for robots? And how long did it take you to make it walk so realistically?

@buragay_jan I can recommend @pierrick_picaut Animation and riggin courses for sure. It took me 2 days to animate it after that.

@buragay_jan doing a walking animation for a mech / heavy suit any recomendations?

@buragay_jan I can't stop recommending this course Alive by @pierrick_picaut There's a whole chapter dedicated to robot animation, it's really worth it. in a nutshell, the animation starts with creating a Z-movement in the hips. all other parts essentially react to this base movement

@buragay_jan This looks awesome, also really reminds me of Forever Winter

@buragay_jan I know right! I wish I could participate in FW 🥲

@buragay_jan Are you open to working with people? I need some animation like this for a mech miniatures game I'm developing - for the Kickstarter trailer.

@buragay_jan Sure! Send me a DM ☺️
