Walker Kessler on guarding Nikola Jokic: "It knocked off a lot of rust. There's a pile in my locker. There's a reason why he is who he is. He's arguably the best big in the league and best player in the league. I would argue Luka's better obviously for obvious reasons. But I mean he's an exceptional player. It's been a long time since I've really competed against someone like that since November basically of last year. So definitely was nice to get that in before it actually counts"

Walker Kessler says Nikola Jokic is the toughest player he’s ever guarded, getting traded days after being drafted was his “welcome to the NBA” moment, and he’d work at a haunted house if he weren’t in the NBA 😂

"It takes time to process. It was one of the hardest years of my life, with everything that happened to me. I had to overcome a lot of odds, working my butt off every single day. My wife went through it with me. There wasn't a lot of time off. When I look back at all the people that helped me out and believed in me, I'm really grateful for my family, friends, and everyone in that locker room." CMC on Kyle Shanahan saying his season was one of the most impressive by a player of all time 🥺

Someone asked about from concealment. So here it is. I can clear my garment, draw, and get rounds on target in 1.5 seconds. When I knock the rust off it’s sub one second. 🙂

Despite a whole series of fights, beef and physicality. Nikola Jokic shook and hug every player on the Timberwolves team after losing the series. You might not like the guy, I sure don’t, but I respect this a lot 🫡
