She studied engineering on the fly, met with politicians, and essentially ran the site, making her a trailblazing woman in 19th-century engineering. A few fun facts: •When it opened, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world. •P.T. Barnum once marched 21 elephants across to prove it was safe! 🐘 •Today, it’s crossed by over 100,000 people daily.
