Walking to work. Assisted dying - my question to you 👇

Absolutely not, we’ve seen the same bill in countries like Canada but slowly these protections were stripped away and now anyone with a case of depression can use assisted dying there. It’s a slippery slope we don’t want to go down.

Sick people will be pressured into dying by relatives eager for Will payouts & the Government wanting to save NHS money & grab that inheritance tax early. In Canada, these laws have been a disaster with lobby groups pushing for it to be extended to the mentally ill & depressed. These laws are always expanded later.

I support the premise of assisted dying but after seeing what has happened in Canada I don’t think I can support it

I looked after my terminally ill father this year. He said he wanted to die in his last few weeks as he felt so bad. He received palliative care. They gave him a Stat Dose. He died within 3 hours. It was morphine and midazolam. Too a degree assisted dieing is already here.

Lee, No. Just look at the evidence given at the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry. The abuse by the medical profession was unprecedented. You state the bill is only for the terminally ill with only 6 months to live. Who determines the timeframe? This bill is being rushed through there needs to be a public debate and education on current hospital procedures. The pressure for patients to agree to have a DNR placed on them was exposed in the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry. Listen carefully to Lorraine. Better still talk to her. @LorraineNorton @EoLWatch

Can you please get the Mayor of London’s disgusting adverts all over the underground removed. How has Lindsey Hoyle allowed them to be put up when this Bill hasn’t even been passed? Does the MoL have insights into the corruption that is LIEbour?

A good chance of assisted dying if you walk around London wearing a Rolex and waving your mobile phone around.

I used to, but no longer do I can't trust the state or @NHS currently

My day job is a Carer. I’m concerned about how this new law could be changed in the future and potentially misused. People are often depressed when they are ill and may feel pressured into agreeing to end their life.

No, no, no, it's completely and utterly immoral, we are a Christian country. This is nothing more than an attack on old people. Do not let this pass.
