As a pop song it’s an absolute banger and wipes the floor with much of today’s stuff. And as a political statement it still rings true 40 years later.
Honestly think The Style Council were one of the best bands ever. Diverse, experimental…they could be fun or they could be serious. Weller was on fire and Mick, DC and Steve all extremely talented.
One of my favourite tunes ever "They take the profits, you take the blame " so true even today
